Chances are, if you open the door in your Fridge Freezer and the light doesn't come on, its the lamp/bulb that needs replacing (although it could also be the door switch). Whirlpool Lamps and bulbs have a long life, but they are subject to more extreme conditions so can blow prematurely on occasions. Its a good idea to keep a small stock of replacement or spare bulbs / lamps just in case. So, if you're lamp has blown recently, it might be wise to purchase at least two so you dont have to come back and buy another one in a few months time.
