Whirlpool Lamps and bulbs have a long life, but still blow out as much as any other bulb. Its a good idea to keep a small stock of replacement or spare bulbs / lamps just in case. So, if you're lamp has blown recently, it might be wise to purchase at least two so you dont have to come back and buy another one in a few months time.
