The heater element is the most vital piece of your tumble dryer, as without it clothes take much longer to dry in the dryer. The obvious signs that your heater element is failing is that clothes take an unusually long time to dry, or there a distinct lack of heat when the tumble dryer door is opened mid cycle. A replacement element is nearly always needed in this case.
