Water Inlet Valves / Solenoid

The water inlet valves (solenoids) are what control the flow of water into your washing machine on both the hot and cold water feeds (there is normally a 'clunk' you hear as the water switches off). The valve can break and either pbe permantly on, of permantly off. Replacing with a spare water inlet valve is fairly straightforward and can be done with basic tools by a competant DIY'er.
